Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This site is not medical advice
Everything on pediatrichelporg.org is general educational information about PANDAS, PANS, and related post-infectious neuroimmune conditions. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for evaluation by a qualified clinician who knows your child.
Using this site, submitting a form, or corresponding with us does not create a physician-patient or any other treatment relationship. Pediatric H.E.L.P. Organization does not currently operate a clinic and does not currently provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If your child is talking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Do not use this website to report an emergency — it is not monitored around the clock.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep the information here current and sourced, and we cite our sources. Medical understanding of these conditions is evolving. We make no warranty that everything on the site is complete, current, or applicable to any particular child.
Links to other organizations
We link to other organizations, articles, and resources we find credible. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices.
Donations
Donations to Pediatric H.E.L.P. Organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, EIN [00-0000000]. Donations are generally non-refundable, but if you gave in error, contact us — we would rather fix it than keep it. Restricted gifts are used as designated; where a restricted purpose becomes impractical, our board may redirect the funds to a closely related purpose consistent with our mission.
What you send us
If you send us a story, a photo, a suggestion, or any other material, you keep ownership of it. You grant us permission to use it only as described in our Privacy Policy — which for anything published means your explicit written permission first. Please do not send us confidential information belonging to someone else.
Our content
The text, graphics, logo, and design of this site belong to Pediatric H.E.L.P. Organization. You are welcome to share, print, and pass along our educational material for non-commercial purposes with attribution — that is what it exists for. Please don't use our name or logo in a way that implies we endorse something we haven't.
Acceptable use
Please don't use the site to break the law, to harass anyone, to impersonate another person, to submit false information, or to interfere with the site's operation or security.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pediatric H.E.L.P. Organization and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. The site is provided "as is."
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
